Hello Class 1 😊
On Friday we are having a no screen day. That means I can't use my laptop, or the board in the classroom all day...which sadly means no zooming. However, I am very excited for our first zoom back after half term so I can hear all about your week off! 😃
You all will have been sent a letter with some ideas about how you could use this day, with the day split into five main sections, or hours. These are:
Making Hour
Genius Hour
Book Hour
Fitness Hour
Giving Hour
Have a look at the ideas provided on the '50 Activities' sheet and choose one or more from each category. Of course you may have some better ideas, so you can choose to do those instead if you like!
Here are a few more ideas.
Epic Sandwich design/making - 'Maker or Giving Hour'
Secret Code - 'Genius Hour'
Cardboard Creativity - 'Maker Hour' (This is a huge document with about 50 different ways of making things with cardboard and other household materials so you may want to choose a favourite ahead of time if you choose this activity!)
