Class 1's News

Hello Class 1 ✋

I have some more photos for you! 📸 There are absolutely loads! It's awesome to see your smiley faces and see what super things you've been getting up to!

First up we have Abi. Here she is doing some Monet inspired painting! 🎨

Abi again with a fabulous painting! Do you recognise the style of the artist? Definitely Van Gogh! Brilliant Abi! 😊

Next we have Amy. I wonder what she is mixing here...🤔

Ahha! She's making fossils! Is that Max helping there too? 🐶

Look at those fantastic fossils! I especially love the paw print! 🐾

Here Amy is being a Palaeontologist. Look how carefully she is removing the fossils (chocolate chips) from the rock (cookie). Amy said she found 33 chocolate chips and that she ate ALL of them! 😃😃

Amy again and here is she is doing some amazing drawings! Wow!

Some beautiful Van Gogh inspired painting here! Well done Amy! ⭐

Next up we have Dylan! He has been busy making some awesome dinosaur top trump cards! ⭐

Here they are again, but closer! They look fantastic Dylan! It looks like you had fun making them. 😃

Here Etta and her siblings have created a really cool piece of wall art using chalk and tape! What a great idea! 🙂

Some beautiful butterfly art here and hung in a tree! A lovely idea Etta. 🦋

Etta has made an awesome 3D daffodil! I love it! 🌻

Etta and her family were meant to be going to Spain over half-term. Sadly, they couldn't go...but look at these great ideas! They brought a little bit of Spain to Cheltenham and Etta made a paella with Dad! That looks delicious!

It wouldn't be a Spanish holiday, without a Spanish flag! Some lovely crafting ideas! ⭐

Etta's Monet inspired painting - fantastic!

The whole family got involved with this Monet activity! 😀

Here we have Oscar having some fun on a walk! I'd like to see the 'after' photo...I bet you were very muddy! 😀

Oscar doing some baking (slicing cherries I think). I wonder what he is making? Cherries are my favourite!

Picking home grown rhubarb! Wow Oscar, that's impressive (and other one of my favourites). What did you make with it? I love making a rhubarb compote to have with some greek yoghurt - delicious! 😍

Here Oscar has been building dens with his brother! It looks so fun!😀

Pizza making! What toppings would you put on your pizza Class 1? 🍕

Here we have Ryo who has been doing a maths investigation using his kitchen scales to weigh some of his toys!

Another one of Ryo's investigation! How much do the blocks weigh? Can you see? 😀

Ryo has been getting stuck into the origami tasks! Look at his dolphin! 🐬

Another origami photo - here Ryo is with his very smiley whale! I love it! 🐳🐋

Here is Sophia exploring the woods during her wildlife walk. She saw two horses, butterflies, a fawn and a black cat! 🐎

Can you spot the fawn in this photo? 🦌

Here Sophia is showing her wonderful work about the animal poems in her home learning book! Well done Sophia! ⭐

Sophie went on a walk to explore the bluebell woods! How beautiful!

After her walk, Sophie decided to paint the bluebell woods in the style of Monet! 🎨

Here is Sophie's finished artwork! A fantastic job! ⭐

Thank you for all the awesome photos! 📸 Keep them coming and I will put them on the blog!

I'm missing seeing you all at school, so these photos cheer me up no end. I hope you're all still keeping in contact with your friends! Keep being your amazing selves and I hope I can see you all soon!

Here is Charlie making a fan - this is looking very good! Keep scrolling to see the finished creations!

Keep scrolling to see the next photo - it's impressive!

Wow! Look at this fan! Great job Charlie, very impressive! ⭐

Another super photo here of Charlie. He has made an awesome poster! Well done! 😃

Look at this wonderful story map for the story 'We're going on a bear hunt'! What fantastic pictures and descriptions created by Lily! Super job! 🌟

Oscar has been having fun in the garden and making the most of the sunshine! 🌞

Oscar has also made a recipe book! Here is one of the pages and it tells you how to make bread. Some super writing Oscar! 👍

Here Oscar is again, riding his bike! It's great to get out in the fresh air and make the most of this glorious weather. 🌞

Ryo has been doing some excellent and creative maths work! Here he is showing how to make equal groups. Can you see what he is counting in?

Ryo is making equal groups of 3 in this photo. A great use of M&M's and I love how he has grouped them by colour too! 🍫

Here he is making equal groups of 10! Can you work out how many he has altogether? 🤔

Ryo has also made equal groups of 5! Wow! ⭐ I wonder if you can work out how many there are altogether in this picture?

Thank you for your wonderful photos! I love being able to share them with you all and I hope you're enjoying seeing what your friends are up to!

Keep them coming and I will make sure they are on the blog!

Class 1's News

Hello all 😊

It's photo time! 📸

I thought I would share some wonderful photos that I have been sent this week!

Thank you for sending them to me - I love seeing how you are doing.

Scroll down to see!

Abi is working hard here, having a bit of fun with measuring! Well done Abi 😊

Amy has decided to do some of her own colour investigations! 🔎 She is testing to see if flowers change colour if you put them in dye - the flowers with white petals work the best. I wonder if you know why? 🤔

Charlie looks very studious here! Wow - look at all of that incredible work! A fantastic job Charlie! 👏🌟

Sophie is in the kitchen with her sister - what smiley faces! 😀 Don't forget - it's important to have fun and do things that aren't school work too!

It's Sophie again here! Look what she is doing...can you see? She is reading a story to her family on FaceTime! 📖 What a super idea! 👏 It's hard when you can't see your family - perhaps you might give this a try too?

Here she is again! This time Sophie is reading her work through the window during a visit to see family! 📚 A very clever idea. I know I can't always see your work at the moment, but take the time to be proud of yourselves! Be proud, just like Sophie is of her super work. ⭐

I hope you all enjoyed seeing some of your classmates today. Remember, if you would like your photos to feature on the blog, email them across and I will put them up!

I will leave you with a photo of my cat, Jasmine. Here she is enjoying the sunshine... 🌞 I hope you are too!
