Express Yourself! *Updated on 5.2.21*

Hello everyone!

As promised, here is a video of me expressing myself and doing something I enjoy. I love a challenge and trying to learn any new skills that are sport related and this is my new challenge for this week! It's how I keep my head and heart healthy.

How are you expressing yourself? Are you going for long walks? Playing in the garden? Being creative? Maybe learning an instrument?

Send in your photos/videos of you doing something you love and I will add it to this blog post!

Here we have Lila doing something that makes her happy - playing with sticks and water with Freddie at the park! πŸ˜€

Click on this link to see Ila expressing herself and doing something she enjoys - jumping through a hula hoop on a trampoline! Very impressive! πŸ‘

Next we have Heather! She has been jumping on the trampoline, and being creative. Look at that beautiful watercolour painting! 🎨

Click on this link to see George expressing himself. He’s playing a piece on his violin called ‘Theme’ by Mahler. George started learning the violin in pre-school & his grandad teaches him, though their lessons have been on zoom since March. How amazing is that! 🎻

Next up, we have Ellie! She is riding her bike - very well I might add. Ellie loves going out on her bicycle with her sister Naomi, and having races down the road. She is also going to start skipping after seeing my video! I'm really excited to see that Ellie! πŸ˜€

Here we have a beautiful piece of art and a song written by Daisy! Some very clever rhymes in there and beautifully neat - well done Daisy! Perhaps you will sing it for us when we all come back to school? 🎡

Click on this link for some more brilliant, musical creativity from Arabella! Here she is playing her guitar! She has been learning for a few months and is really enjoying it. I particularly love how happy you are when you're playing! Well done! 🎸

Click on this link to see Teddy performing some rather impressive street dancing at home. Teddy takes part in weekly street dance lessons - a great way to stay fit, healthy and happy! πŸ•ΊπŸ˜ Well done Teddy!

Next we have Jackson who has been skipping and doing all sorts of impressive tricks on the trampoline! He he wanted to show us his front flip twist but it’s been raining - I hope to see it soon when the weather clears up! 😁

Click on this link to see Ned singing a song he made up! I absolutely love the lyrics - they really show he is expressing himself while thinking about others during Children's Mental Health Week. Well done Ned! 🎡
