Class 1's News

Hello Class 1 ⭐

It's time for some more fantastic photos! πŸ“Έ

Amy is practising her spellings. She's playing hangman with a sentence including one of her weekly spellings. What a great idea! πŸ™‚

Here we can see how Amy made her minibeast habitat map! πŸ›

Look at this! What a clever 3D model of the microhabitats in Amy's garden. Fantastic! πŸœπŸπŸžπŸ›πŸŒ

Amy has been enjoying the English tasks. Super work Amy! ⭐

Dylan went on a minibeast hunt in his garden and look what he found! A newt! That is awesome Dylan, well done! I wonder if anyone knows which microhabitat a newt would live in? πŸ˜ƒ

Here we have some super writing from Elsie - look at that beautiful handwriting! 😍⭐

Look at this amazing finger painting in the style of Monet! That is fantastic and so colourful Elsie, well done! 🎨
Here are Lily's wonderful pieces of art in the style of Monet, Van Gogh and Metzinger. Super art Lily! 😊

Some great writing happening here! ⭐

I think this has to be my favourite photo ever. πŸ’— Lily has decided that she should put on her best sparkly dress and a rather fab pair of pink wellies and splash in the puddles! What a great thing to do! I might have to give that a go next time it rains...πŸ’§πŸ˜„

Here Lily is enjoying some baking and biscuit decorating with her brother. Two very big smiles! It looks like Lily has lost a few teeth since I last saw her. I have also heard that the Tooth Fairy is classed as a key worker, so don't panic if you loose a tooth! 🧚

Here Oscar is creating his Van Gogh inpsired art! 😊

Look at the finished piece! Fantastic Oscar! Perhaps the next Van Gogh in the making...🎨

Oscar found a huge branch and decided to measure it using his feet. It measured 24 of Oscar's feet! 😊

Here we have Sophia creating her Monet painting. Fantastic! πŸ˜€

Sophia's finished artwork. Beautiful finger painting Sophia, well done! 🎨

Another super piece of art by Sophia. A lovely Metzinger mosaic! πŸ˜ƒ

Thank you for the wonderful photos, I love seeing you all!

Remember, the learning tasks that I set on the blog are only suggested. If you have other things that you are doing at home, I would love to see (and it doesn't have to be work!) because this is all about keeping in touch.

Stay safe and I'm looking forward to more photos!
