Dear Parents, this week we would have been having Science week at Holy Apostles and we would have been attending the Cheltenham Science Festival and taking part in lots of Science activities in school. We will be having a Science focus in a couple of weeks but you may be aware the Cheltenham Science Festival has gone live online this week, so we thought you may want to take a look at what’s on offer.
Here is the link.
In addition to this there is a link for free resources https://fun-science.org.uk/cheltenham
We will include links to Cheltenham Science Festival during our Science Week also.

Letters to The Bay Tree Care Home
In school,
we’ve been talking about ways in which we might help others in the community.
As you may have seen on the news, many care homes across the country have had
to close their doors to visitors to help to protect the people staying there.
This means that the residents can’t have visitors as they normally would. We
thought it might be nice if they received a letter to help to cheer them up.
Therefore, we are asking everyone in the Infants to write a letter to the residents of the Bay Tree Care Home. We will be completing them as part of our CPSHE tasks on Thursday and Friday this week in school. It will form a part of our home learning, so if you are coming into school, you don't need to write one at home.
We have emailed your mums and dads with who we would like you to write to.
When you have completed your letter, get an adult to check it and then please send it in to the school office using adminsec@holyapostles.gloucs.sch.uk and we will make sure that The Bay Tree Care home receive it.
Please send in your letter by Wednesday 10th June.
I hope you enjoy this activity. I know the residents will really enjoy reading them!
Miss Carter
